Selling - Moving Tips - After Moving In

Even though you have moved, keep in touch with old friends. Email is free. Once you have settled in, plan on getting involved with the community, neighbors or other activities that fit your personality. Remember kids are affected the most during a move because they feel isolated from their old friends. Reassure them that they will find new activities and new friends and most importantly, they will be able to keep in touch with their old friends as pen-pals or email buddies.

Introduce yourselves to your new neighbors. It is always good to know someone in the neighborhood. They will be happy that someone has moved into the vacant house near them. Some communities have a welcome committee that will drop off a welcome package.
